Our Story

It all began in Pozo Alcón, a small town nestled in the heart of the Sierra de Cazorla, Segura y Las Villas — Spain's largest natural park. Here, where time seems to stand still amidst ancient olive trees and clean mountain air, Sangre de Olivo Elixir was born.

Roots that run deeper than the earth

We are a family that has been cultivating olive trees for generations in this privileged corner of Jaén. We are not farmers by necessity, but by conviction. Every tree we care for is a living legacy, a silent conversation between the past and the future.

For years, our oil was a well-kept secret: we shared it with family, friends, and neighbors who knew how to recognize its exceptional quality. There came a time when we decided that this secret deserved to be told to the world.

The birth of an elixir

Sangre de Olivo Elixir is not just a name. It is a declaration of intent. The extra virgin olive oil we produce is the blood of our olive trees — their purest essence, cold-extracted in the first hours after harvesting, when polyphenols and antioxidants are at their peak.

Our unique terroir — the altitude, the limestone soil, the cold nights and sunny days of the mountains — imbues each harvest with an unmistakable character: intense fruitiness, elegant bitterness, and a persistent pungency that experts recognize as a sign of exceptional quality.

More than oil: a functional food

We believe in the power of extra virgin olive oil as a nutraceutical food. Science supports what our grandparents already knew: a good oil, consumed daily, is preventive medicine. That is why we take care of every detail of the process — from the olive variety to the exact moment of harvest — to preserve its bioactive properties as much as possible.

A project with soul

Today, Sangre de Olivo Elixir is a family project that combines tradition and modernity. We respect ancestral cultivation methods, but apply the most advanced knowledge in quality analysis, packaging, and distribution. Every can that leaves our oil mill carries with it the effort of a family, the character of a territory, and the promise of a unique gastronomic experience. Thank you for being part of this story.
